About Pilates
Pilates is an adaptable, challenging and safe form of body conditioning for people of all fitness levels. Developed by Joseph Pilates over 70 years ago, the method has helped people from all walks of life — from athletes and dancers rehabilitating injuries to corporate job holders to new moms looking for a way to reconnect the body after childbirth.
Pilates is based on healthy alignment, core support, mindful breathing patterns, awareness of one’s body, and strengthening, lengthening and releasing appropriate muscle groups — facilitating freedom of movement without pain. On top of all that, it’s a great workout!
Training from Kim:
Kim provides her clients with a movement experience, while addressing individual needs and goals. Educating her clients in anatomical awareness, she helps them translate Pilates training into their everyday activities.
